Florence Bamgbose Presents at FNA Conference

GSHC’s Owner & Chief Nurse Practitioner, Florence Bamgbose, will be presenting her doctoral research at the Florida Nursing Association Conference (FNA) in Miami this weekend.  During her study at Barry University, Florence focused her research on the Herzberg’s Motivation-Hygiene Theory as a Predictor of Registered Nurses’ Intent to Stay in Long Term Care. This research has provided Florence with a deeper understanding of the issues facing Registered Nurses working in Long-Term Care.

As our aging population increases so does demand for skilled nursing work force. Therefore it is important that we not only conduct research on  satisfaction, but that we implement strategies and learn from the research that can potentially help retain and recruit  nursing workforce.
